We are pleased to announce our support for the Tatum Robotics Foundation Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to expanding independent communication and information access for DeafBlind individuals.

Tatum aims to expand access for the DeafBlind community using the Tatum1, a pioneering robotic communication device that converts digital information directly into tactile fingerspelling. It enables users to independently access messaging, calls, weather updates, and daily news without needing a sighted or hearing facilitator.


         


As part of our commitment to driving meaningful innovation, we are providing 20 units of our GST120A20-P1M power supplies to support Tatum1 devices. Specifically, these 20 units will support the next cohort of TatumLearn, a self-paced English literacy program for DeafBlind adults, delivered via tactile ASL fingerspelling using the Tatum1 robot. Serving as the external power source, the GST120A20-P1M supplies the stable, uninterrupted power required for the device's robotic movement.

Our sponsorship powers hands-on workshops and training sessions where DeafBlind individuals interact with Tatum1. To highlight our partnership, the Tatum Robotics Foundation has featured "Powered by MEAN WELL" branding on the Tatum1 units supported through this initiative.
