MEAN WELL was proud to sponsor the 2026 MEAN WELL USA SDG Tournament, held in collaboration with T-League RGT (北美台灣一級棒聯盟) on Saturday, August 22, at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex in Sunnyvale, California.

Aligning with MEAN WELL's core Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the tournament highlighted youth empowerment, athletic excellence, and international cultural exchange.





The event featured four student-athlete teams traveling from Taiwan: ChongMing Junior High School, ShanHua Senior High School, ChangAn Junior High School, and JhongSsiao Junior High School. The teams participated in competitive exhibition games against local Northern California youth teams. Demonstrating exceptional determination and sportsmanship, the two teams sponsored by MEAN WELL—ChongMing Junior High School and ShanHua Senior High School—captured 1st Place and 2nd Place, respectively.

The tournament commenced with MEAN WELL General Manager Leo Cheong throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Beyond sponsorship, MEAN WELL employees welcomed the visiting student-athletes and coaching staffs with a dedicated community lunch, providing the young players an opportunity to engage with local professionals and experience Northern California hospitality.

The 2026 MEAN WELL USA SDG Tournament forms a key milestone within a larger statewide youth athletic initiative organized by T-League RGT. Featured in local news coverage by KTSF 26, the summer program brought seven youth baseball teams from Taiwan to California for intense training, English language immersion, and cultural exchange.
