CUSTOMER PAIN POINTS:
An Industrial PC Manufacturer Leader has been using the GST120A series for Industrial PC application for Manufacturing Sector due to its High Reliability and Global Certifications that allows the PC to gain access to Global Markets. To improve the PC ruggedized, the PC Designer would like to add locking mechanism to the DC Port to prevent loose connection between the power supply DC connector and the PC.

 
POWER SOLUTION:
To improve the ruggedness of the connectivity, MEAN WELL offered the C6P optional connector that has a 90-degree angle Locking Mechanism. The locking Mechanism requires force to exact the connector that ensure the connection does not loose. 
Other than the C6P connector, MEAN WELL New Generation Wall-mounted NGE series ternal Power Supply offers various type of optional connectors including barrel type, Circular DIN and XLR type etc… based on application demands. The NGE series is design to meet the DoE Level VII that delivers worry free to Customers when DoE Level VII becomes mandates. Also, NGE is a 30mm slim design that only takes one slot from the outlet and certified to ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, UL62368-1, IEC-60335-1 and IEC-61558-1 that suitable for Medical, ITE and Household Applications.
