SPWM Series Welcomes New Additions: Constant Voltage Dimming / Color Tuning LED Drivers Compliant with KNX and Matter Standards

Following the launch of the SPWM-75/150/240 series in December 2025, which supports dimming, tunable white, and color control, MEAN WELL is further expanding the SPWM product family with new models compliant with KNX and Matter standards. The new models are identified by the “-KN” and “-MA” suffixes, respectively, further broadening the product portfolio and strengthening MEAN WELL's presence in smart lighting applications.
The SPWM-KN series features a built-in KNX communication interface for direct connection to the KNX bus, enabling seamless integration with KNX systems for digital lighting control and complying with the KNX Data Secure requirements. The SPWM-MA series is based on Matter over Thread technology and complies with the Matter 1.5 specification. It features an integrated communication antenna and has obtained Matter certification from the CSA Alliance. The newly released -KN and -MA models offer up to 20kHz PWM dimming frequency; The flexible 1~4 channel output configuration supports multiple operation modes, including independent dimming, tunable white control, and RGBW color control, providing a highly flexible solution for LED lighting systems in smart building applications.
The SPWM family integrates three major control standards – DALI, KNX, and Matter – within a single product family, while also supporting 3-in-1 dimming. The complete model selection is shown below:
