To address the growing market demand for ultra-wide input DC-DC converters, MEAN WELL has expanded its 8:1 ultra-wide input product portfolio beyond the existing SIP (1W~9W),   DIP (3W~20W), 1” x 1” (10W~30W) and2"x1"(10W~50W) package families. With multiple package options covering power ratings from 1W to 50W, the lineup now welcomes the new IQB150W8 Series, a 150W Quarter-Brick DC-DC converter.

With the launch of the IQB150W8 Series, MEAN WELL becomes one of the few power supply manufacturers in the market offering a complete 8:1 ultra-wide input DC-DC converter portfolio spanning 1W to 150W. The comprehensive product range addresses low-, medium-, and high-power applications while providing customers with a completer and more competitive one-stop DC-DC power solution.

The IQB150W8 Series features an ultra-wide 9~75Vdc (8:1) input voltage range, enabling a single model to support multiple standard DC bus voltages, including 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, and 72V. This high level of flexibility allows system designers to use one product across various platforms, significantly simplifying product selection, shortening development cycles, and improving overall system design flexibility and operational reliability.

Compared with conventional DC-DC converters that require separate models for input ranges such as 9~18Vdc, 18~36Vdc, and 36~75Vdc, the IQB150W8 Series can reduce the number of required inventory SKUs by approximately 67%. This helps lower procurement costs, simplify inventory management, and improve supply chain efficiency. The IQB150W8 Series delivers an ideal combination of high-power density, ultra-wide input capability, and system design flexibility, making it an excellent power solution for next-generation ICT, industrial, and distributed power applications.
