MEAN WELL introduced the new 2W unregulated single output DC/DC converter – SPU02 series – for the growing market demands of low cost and miniature size. With SIP packaging in fully non-conductive plastic case, these 2W gadgets maintain the same size as original 1W products ( 0.77” x 0.28” x 0.4” ) and can still work at full load under 60°C of ambient temperature. SPU02 also design to comply with the standard pin assignment in the market that offers a better choice for users who has cost and space concerns. Other standard features include 3000VDC high input / output isolation, low ripple noise, low cost, CE / FCC compliance, and short circuit protection. Suitable applications are industrial control, telecom/datacom, and distributed power architecture.
