Outside Sales

Mean Well USA , a world manufacturing leader of Industrial Switching Power Supplies, has enjoyed dramatic sales growth since 1995. We currently have several outside sales positions available, located in Northern CA, Southern CA, TX, IL and New England. Professional sales skills and a proven track record are required. Job responsibilities include:

Job Duties:
1. Develop an annual sales strategy and marketing survey.
2. Develop new direct accounts in the assigned territory.
3. Manage and maintain the customer key account base.
4. Provide account activity reports for analysis and forecasting.
5. Provide sales training and product presentations when appropriate.


Requirements :
Employee Type: Full-time
Experience Required: 3 Years (minimum)
Degree Required: 2 Year Degree
Travel Required: 25%-50%

1. 3+ years sales experience in related industry.
2. Minimum 2 years degree is required.
3. Engineering background is a plus.
4. Power Supply knowledge is a plus.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Excellent presentation skills and negotiating strategy.

The Account Representative will be paid to develop new business as an independent entity and will not be directly employed with Mean Well USA .

Job Duties:
1. Travel within the territory to make account sales calls.
2. Provide biweekly activity reports with a minimum of 20 targeted key accounts.

Requirements :
1. 3+ years power supply sales experience or 5+ years in a related field.
2. Customer knowledge of the local territory .

Job Duties:
1. Design and develop switch mode power supplies, power magnetics , and EMI Filter products.
2. Determine customer power needs and provide them with the proper power supply solution,
    using company approved design procedures.
3. Work with with company's Engineering , Production and Sales departments to develop special
    quotations, based on the customer's particular power requirements.
4. Investigate customer complaints involving product quality and performance issues.
5. Perform test procedures on electronic systems and components, using accepted methodologies
    and electronic principles.
6. Provide technical support to customers regarding quality issues. Recommend engineering
    changes when needed.

Requirements :
1. Requirements: BSEE with one (1) year related experience.

Job Duties:
1. Design and develop switch mode power supplies, including standard and custom designs.
2. Develop new generation of cost-effective AC/DC conversion circuits with superior performance.
3. Design and develop single and three-phase high-frequency, switch-mode off-line converters
    and inverters for desktop, server, telecom, and motor drive applications.
4. Perform testing, evaluation, failure analysis, MTBF reliability analysis.
5. Provide technical support to customers and provide recommendations to resolve quality issues.
6. Be a team player

Requirements :
1. BS in Electrical Engineering.
2. Knowledge of switch mode power supply topologies.
3. Hands-on laboratory experience.
4. Strong debugging and testing skills .
5. Be self-motivated with a proven track record of leadership
